Traditionally during Italian wedding celebrations guests have been given a sweet memento of five sugar coated almonds in order to remember the bride and groom’s special day. These almonds symbolised health, happiness, fertility, wealth and a long life. Over time favours have evolved to also include a more modern twist with many different styles and fillings to choose from. At Cherish we give you a number of different options to enable you to plan your own table themes. You may wish to keep to the traditional almonds or go for something different; chocolate hearts, fudge, gorgeous hand-poured soaps, hand made candles to name a few.
